The tradition of Easter eggs comes from an old Slavic custom dating back to pagan times. The best known example of them is the Ukrainian pysanka decorated using a wax-resist technique. I am a freelance translator / interpreter living in Utrecht, the Netherlands with my German boyfriend. We spend the weekends in North Germany, and often visit Hungary where I am from. This blog is about things I love... thrifty finds, art, good food, languages, books, movies, travelling and cats. Hope you'll stop by every now and then.
