It's not exactly my room now, but it used to be. At any rate, that's where I sleep when I visit my parents and my books are still there. Plus, I now have a room at so many different places that it would be hard to define the term 'my room'. The bottom line is that it got a serious face lift and a lot of junk that accumulated there over the years has been thrown away. I think that my Mum tried to accomplish a Scandinavian country look with some romantic-looking, Laura Ashelyish touches woven into the décor. Whether or not she was successful in her attempt, she definitely managed to transform the initial hodgepodge design into warm, refined simplicity.
